One of the highlights of last month’s TEDGlobal for me: sharing a stage with Pico Iyer. Like me, the author of ‘The Global Soul‘ and ‘The Man Within My Head’ has a thing for Graham Greene (the man in question). Plus he’s possessed of a certain gentle grace that makes you grateful to see the world through his eyes.
I once spent months researching a book on the idea of home, but couldn’t find the narrative. Iyer did it in 14 minutes with this luminous talk, which just went online. Here it is, for what he calls “the great floating tribe” of those who, with luck, have discovered that “home is not just where you were born, but where you become yourself”
